Week #3: Reflective (Summer)

While at Disneyland this week I walked by the castle after the sun had set. It was not the lights upon the castle that stopped me, but the reflection that beamed from the water. It was so crystal clear and perfect, as though two castles sat one atop the other. The castle is bright and fills me with joy and hope the way Disneyland should. However, the reflection below gave off a darker approach almost like opposites. This photo reminds me of how shadowing with lights can be used to arouse and intrigue an audience for the stage. Playing with darker tones, colors and intensities on onside to balance and fight against brighter, vibrant lights on the other.
